SPADES Pilots: Integration of Soils in Spatial Planning Practises
This deliverable report synthesizes findings from 17 pilot diagnoses conducted within SPADES to examine how soils are currently integrated into local spatial planning practices. Through policy analysis, stakeholder mapping, interviews, and multi-stakeholder workshops, each pilot identified local soil-related challenges, existing planning tools and governance approaches, as well as barriers and opportunities for stronger soil integration. The report presents a transversal analysis of these results, highlighting shared themes, local differences, and opportunities for cross-learning and targeted support across the SPADES consortium.
